CPR/AED Training Overview

Our CPR/AED courses provide essential skills to help individuals recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking incidents across different age groups, including adults, children, and babies. Each course level includes training on the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), ensuring that participants are equipped with life-saving knowledge.

Whether you’re seeking CPR/AED training for the workplace or for personal life, we offer courses that follow the latest CPR guidelines based on the Heart & Stroke’s Guidelines for CPR & ECC and the AHA (ILCOR) Guidelines. All participants will receive comprehensive training from certified instructors.

Course Duration

Level A: 4 hours
Level C: 5 hours
Level BLS: 6-7 hours

Completion Requirements

100% attendance
Skills demonstration
Minimum 75% passing grade on the written exam.

Course Content

1. Level A (Adult CPR):

The First Aider’s Role
Assessing the Ill/Injured Person
Choking response for adults
Cardiovascular emergencies
CPR for adults

2. Level C (Adult/Child/Baby):

All content from Level A
Choking response for children and babies
CPR for children and babies

3. Level BLS (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers):

All content from Level C
Jaw thrust manoeuvre
Pulse check
Rescue breathing for adults, children, and babies
Bag-valve-mask (BVM) use for adults, children, and babies
Two-rescuer CPR for adults, children, and babies
Naloxone Administration
Mental Health Awareness

CSA STANDARD

Our courses meet the new CSA Standard Z1210-17 and the WSIB Regulation 1101.

CERTIFICATION

Participants will receive a CPR/AED manual and certification card upon completion. Optional wall certificates are available upon request.
