Occupational Health and Safety Legislation gives workers the right to refuse work when it is believed to be unsafe. Workers, employers, supervisors health and safety representatives, and committee members must understand this procedure. By completing this module, learners will understand the procedures for refusing unsafe work and what to expect during the process of refusal.

Testing conducted throughout this course is designed to reinforce the information presented. A mark of 80% on the final test must be achieved in order to receive a certificate of completion. Participants are able to repeat the course if the pass mark is not achieved.
