The investigation of accidents and incidents is a critical component in hazard identification and control and plays a large role in the implementation of a successful health and safety program. This course will help learners determine direct causal factors of an accident or incident, identify contributing factors, prevent re-occurrence, promote safety awareness and establish due diligence.
This program is specifically designed to help learners understand and interpret the accident investigation program by covering relevant provincial occupational health and safety legislation, workplace responsibilities and the accident/incident investigation process.
