Introduction of Standard First Aid & CPR Training
The Standard First Aid & CPR course is a comprehensive two-day program designed for individuals who require first aid training for work or who want to gain the skills needed to respond to emergencies at home.
This course covers essential first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills, following the most up-to-date guidelines. It meets federal and various provincial and territorial regulations for Standard First Aid and CPR. F.A.S.T. Rescue’s Standard First Aid program is approved by WSIB for workplaces.
This course exceeds competitors’ standards by incorporating injury prevention content, along with CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training and Naloxone administration.
Course Duration:
- In-Class Training – 14 to 16 hours with flexible scheduling options
- Blended Training – 7-8 hours online theory and 7-8 hours in-class practical training
Instructor:
- Certified F.A.S.T. Rescue First Aid Instructor or Instructor Trainer
Completion Requirements:
- 100% attendance
- Skills demonstration
- Minimum 75% passing grade on written exam
