Ontario Safety Regulations

Ontario now accepts the Ontario WSIB Regulation 1101 First Aid Kits as well as the CSA First Aid Kits per the new CSA Z1220 Standard. CSA First Aid Kits are required to be in accordance with the newly developed Canadian Standards Association (CSA), CSA Z1220 – First aid kits for the workplace.  Click here for further information about the CSA regulations.

Ontario WSIB Regulation 1101 for First Aid Kits are based on the type of workplace and the number of employees in the workplace. Please read through the safety regulations to determine the type of First Aid training and safety equipment required for your workplace. There are a variety of first aid kits recommended for all different size work places.  Download the regulations here.

First Aid Requirements for Ontario Workplaces

Sec. 10 16-199 people in any one shift At all times, the First Aid Station must have 1 person trained in Standard First Aid & CPR [shopify embed_type=”product” shop=”fast-rescue-products.myshopify.com” product_handle=”ontario-section-10-first-aid-kit” show=”all”]
Sec. 11 200 or more people At all times, the First Aid Room must have 1 person trained in Standard First Aid & CPR [shopify embed_type=”product” shop=”fast-rescue-products.myshopify.com” product_handle=”ontario-first-aid-room” show=”all”]
