Forward Fundraiser & Networking Evening

F.A.S.T. Rescue is proud to announce the Forward Fundraiser & Networking Evening on Thursday, April 2, 2026. This is our first fundraising event in support of students in the Toronto Metropolitan University Occupational Health & Safety Graduate Program. The event aims to raise money through sponsorships, attendance, and a silent auction, while engaging industry partners, community members, and supporters who share a commitment to workplace health, safety, and public service.
The aim is to support students of colour (Black and racialized), Indigenous students, first-generation students, and/or newcomers to Canada who may face additional systemic or financial barriers to post-secondary education. At the same time, the intent of the award is inclusive and student-centered, recognizing that barriers to education can take many forms and that improving access to learning strengthens the health and safety profession as a whole. The F.A.S.T. Rescue team is proud to introduce this bursary, as the TMU OHS program is closely aligned with the shared commitment to developing safety professionals dedicated to keeping Canadian workplaces safe, healthy, diverse, and resilient.
This project is important to F.A.S.T. Rescue because it directly supports the development of future OHS leaders while reinforcing the organization’s role as a committed partner in education, equity, and community impact. By investing in students today, F.A.S.T. Rescue is contributing to a stronger, more knowledgeable safety workforce tomorrow—advancing prevention, professionalism, and safety culture across Canadian workplaces.
