What is COR™?

COR™ (Certificate of Recognition) is an accreditation supported by the Canadian Federation of Construction Safety Associations (CFCSA). The program requires organizations to develop safe workplaces and consistent practices by complying with the OHSA requirements. This in turn should lead to the organization’s overall improved performance.

Due to the strict standards, organizations that have achieved COR™ Accreditation have found that their corporate image has been enhanced and that respect and trust in their products and services has also increased within their customer base.

The COR™ Focus

There are 3 major areas that COR™ will review:

  1. The documentation of your policies and procedures as well as your processes in order to comply with the regulations
  2. There will be internal and external audits to ensure that what has been documented actually occurs in the organization
  3. The building of a culture within the organization focused on Health & Safety through a viable program
