Federal First Aid & Safety Regulations

Federal Safety Regulations are required for federal organizations. These regulations are based on the hazard classification of the workplace and the number of employees in the workplace. Please read through the safety regulations to determine the type of First Aid training and safety equipment required for your Federal workplace. First Aid Requirements for Federal Workplaces

Workplace Type Training Required
General Workplaces – 6 or more workers per shift 1 First Aid Attendant
Remote Workplaces – 2 or more workers per shift 1 First Aid Attendant
Live high voltage electrical Workplaces – 1 or more workers/shift 1 First Aid Attendant or a worker training in CPR or equivalent
