Burn Dressings & Ointments

Burnfree sterile burn dressings can be used to reduce the pain and trauma from fires, flames, scalds, and chemical and electrical injuries. The dressings are made of soft, open-cell foam saturated with the water soluble Burnfree gel. They are light and easily transportable, and a single application is usually effective. The dressings have a foam carrier which allows complete delivery of gel to the burn. Burnfree dressings are non-adherent and the foam base will not shed threads, strands, or fibers that might become embedded in the wound. The smaller Burnfree dressings are ideal for hands and fingers, while the large dressings are big enough to treat a foot, arm, or leg.

Soaked in a water based, water soluble gel to relieve pain, cool the burn and protect against airborne contamination that may delay the healing process. The dressing consist of medical grade non-woven polyester soaked in a water-soluble gel. Gel can be easily removed with sterile saline. Can be placed directly over clothing. Dressing will not stick to skin. Individual dressings packaged in a foil pouch.

Burnfree products are cooling, soothing, bacteriostatic, lidocaine-free, and completely water soluble. This gel is ideal for all minor burns, including sunburns. It soothes, cools, and moistens the skin. Burnfree can also be used on scrapes, cuts, and small wounds to protect the area from infection.
