Nova Scotia No. 1 First Aid Kits are the minimum requirement for stand-alone office workplaces or workplaces of 1 full-time employee where no one available can administer first aid or summon assistance within a reasonable length of time.

Nova Scotia No. 2 First Aid Kits are the minimum requirement for non-office workplaces of 1-19 workers. This also includes vehicle, boat and aircraft sites.

Nova Scotia No. 3 First Aid Kits are the minimum requirement for non-office workplaces of 20-99 workers. This also includes vehicle, boat and aircraft sites.

Nova Scotia First Aid Rooms are required for non-office workplaces of 100 or more workers. This includes vehicle, boat and aircraft sites.
